As far back as I can remember, I always found it exciting and admirable if a person had the skill to create things with his/ her own hands.
What originated as a hobby quickly sparked an idea and a goal of selling high end custom made pieces to clients.
Developing and improving on our skills became of the utmost importance in order to ensure that we delivered exclusive pieces of furniture that were of the highest quality.
And so, Bark & Steel was born…

HOW DO THE CUSTOM ORDERS WORK?
Our sales team is ready to help you, please follow the following steps for a custom quote.
- Send an email to info@barkandsteel.co.za with your all your design ideas or items that you are interested in.
- In your email try provide as much detail as possible including dimensions and inspiration pictures if you have some.
- A member of our sales team will get back to you as soon as possible and get the ball rolling on your very own Bark & Steel piece.
- As all of our work is custom made, it is important to have a clear track of the communication between yourself and Bark & Steel - that is why we do not use whatsapp or give pricing over our social media platforms.
Each quote is prepared specifically for each individual client. This decreases any chance of confusion and/or miscommunication.- We also provide on site consultations if needed.
